Who needs the ETIAS Authorization to travel to Europe?

After the system is in place in the latter half of 2025, the system will require all visitors from Grenada who plan to travel to the Schengen Area for short stays to apply for an ETIAS. That means that children below 18 and citizens over 70 years old are also required to be issued an individual ETIAS for travel to Schengen countries.
A valid ETIAS that has been approved for Grenadian citizens is a multi-entry travel authorization. It allows the holder to travel to all of the Schengen nations and Territories for stays of up to 90 days per entry, during the 180-day period:
A valid ETIAS issued by the agency can be used for three years from the date the issue or until the accompanying passport expires, whichever occurs first. Therefore, it is not a requirement to make an application for the visa waiver before every excursion to Europe.
ETIAS permits the holder to travel to all the countries within the Schengen zone for brief stays to conduct business, tourism, or transit and medical care. People who want to visit the Schengen Area for any other reason like study or work or longer durations must apply for a Schengen visa to travel to Europe at an embassy or consulate in the country of the first planned entry.

ETIAS Visa Waiver Requirements for Grenadians

Grenadian citizens need to satisfy the EITAS Europe visa waiver requirements before submitting an online application. The majority of ETIAS candidates from Grenada need to meet the following criteria:
• Grenadian passport, valid up to 3 months after entry to Schengen Area.
• The current email address where you will get a copy of an ETIAS visa waiver
• A credit or debit card valid for paying an ETIAS application fee ... Citizens of Grenada who have dual nationality must ensure that they have the same passport for the application form they'll later travel with to Europe. This is because an approved ETIAS application for Grenadians is electronically connected to a passport for each individual. Therefore, it is required to apply for an updated ETIAS visa waiver application for Grenada if the passport expires within the validity period for the ETIAS.
