Traveling from Macau to Europe using ETIAS

ETIAS is the European Travel Information and Authorization System. Its goal is to increase security in the Schengen Area for its residents and visitors. Another driving force behind ETIAS is fighting terrorists in Europe. This can be accomplished partly by screening visa-free travelers from more than 60 countries, including Macanese tourists, before allowing them to embark on a plane or ship headed to Europe. The system will compare information about passengers from the various ETIAS application against various security databases such as Europol and Interpol. ETIAS and the security databases that are consulted for its screening processes are overseen through the European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems within the Area of Freedom, Security, and Justice (EU-LISA). This is done to determine any risk that third-country travelers could cause to the security or well-being of Schengen nations before the time that travel authorization is granted for those who are Macanese applicants. ETIAS isn't an official visa, but it is an authorization for travel to Europe easily obtained through Macau online. ... The ETIAS can be obtained via the applicant's mobile phone, tablet, or personal computer by completing an easy ETIAS request form. To obtain the required ETIAS from Macao is less difficult than a conventional consular visa. The application process takes less than 10 minutes to fill out. You ensure that the Macanese citizen meets the fundamental requirements required to apply for ETIAS available.
